THE CANYONS

Not much to say about The Canyons it was very crowded and there are to many cat tracks the runs tend to be narrow and not all that long, the snow was good, and the Hamburger and Beer deal was excellent , our overall opinion was that it's no doubt a better place when less busy but it's not somewhere we will be rushing back to. Unfortunately for most of the mountains we will be visiting, they have to match up to a Park City that was full of powder after an overnight storm a bit unfair really.
We managed to do our laundry this evening something Lindsay will be very pleased about Angus's socks and underwear put up a good fight, but we finally managed to get them into the washing machine. What I can't understand is why when you feel clothes in the dryer you think their done and when you get them home they feel damp!!!!

Something thats been making us laugh most evenings is the lady who sits on reception in the evening her name is Trudy, she is retired and comes from New Jersey with an accent to match. She loves to talk and ask questions like where do you ski in England and when told we have no mountains she said oh really is that so, (she uses that expression for everything) I thought it was the English that started down hill skiing? yes your right I said but in Austria, is Austria in Europe? yes Trudy, oh really is that so. I'm sure if you came in and said hey Trudy there has been a terrible disaster in Asia and a million people have died, oh really is that so, and how was the skiing today?

We went to see the freestyle moguls and ski cross tonight it was equally as good as last night but it got bitterly cold so we decided to leave before the end prior to hypothermia setting in.

Angus was really pleased to get a comment from one of his best mates James O'Hare thanks James.
